Support guiding in Uganda
Guiding runs on volunteers and goodwill. A gift to the association turns both into camps, training and units that keep going.
What your gift does
The association is run almost entirely by volunteers, so support goes a long way. Gifts are applied where the need is greatest unless you tell us otherwise.
Camp places
Covers the camp fee for a Guide whose family cannot meet it, so no girl misses National Camp over money.
Leader training
Trains and equips the volunteers who run weekly unit meetings - the people guiding depends on.
Unit start-up
Helps a school or community open a new unit, from handbooks and badges to the first term’s materials.
Ways to give
Bank transfer
Give directly to the association’s account, for one-off gifts or standing orders.
Contact the national office and we will send you the details and confirm receipt of your gift.
Mobile money
The simplest way to give from within Uganda, on MTN or Airtel.

Gifts in kind
Camping equipment, uniforms, books and transport all keep units running. Tell us what you can offer and we will match it to a district that needs it.

Talk to us about giving
Whether you are an individual making a one-off gift, a company looking to sponsor a camp, or a school wanting to help a unit get started, the national office will walk you through it and account for how your gift is used.
Not able to give money?
Time is worth as much as money in guiding. Volunteers run the weekly meetings, the camps and the training that everything else depends on.
