Membership
Guiding is a pathway, not a single club. Members move up through the sections as they grow, and many never leave.
The Uganda Girl Guides Association (UGGA) boasts a vibrant and rapidly expanding network of over 436,000 active members across more than 113 districts nationwide. Embracing girls and young women from all walks of life, UGGA structures its membership into age-appropriate sections.

Four sections, each with its own uniform, its own way of working and its own things to do. A girl moves up as she grows.

How membership is managed
Driven by a strategic, data-managed Online Integrated Membership System, the association continuously mobilizes youth and dedicated adult mentors from local school districts, rural communities, and urban hubs. This massive grassroots network establishes UGGA as one of the largest and most influential youth-led organizations in Uganda, transforming hundreds of thousands of members into safe, confident, and proactive global citizens.
