Children Education for a Bright Future
A West Nile project reaching 8,000 vulnerable children across 60 schools with education, alcohol harm prevention and psychosocial support.

Alcohol Harm Prevention
Youth-led substance intervention since 2016, now scaling into Kabale, Rukiga, Kumi and Pallisa through to 2028.

WAGGGS Initiatives and Programmes
WAGGGS initiatives are programs that empower girls through non-formal education, leadership training, and advocacy, focusing on developing potential, promoting gender equality, and driving community action. Here in Uganda, we are currently implementing Free Being Me body confidence program and the Surf Smart 2.0 digital safety.
Under the WAGGGS Programs, we are implementing the Girl Led Advocacy on Climate Change, Empowering Youth on Climate Action Project under the Global Youth Fund of the Global Youth Mobilization, and the YESS Girls’ Movement exchange program.
Surf Smart 2.0
National rollout of the WAGGGS digital safety curriculum, training young Advocacy Champions to cascade cyber safety to their peers.

Free Being Me
The WAGGGS and Dove body confidence curriculum, delivered through interactive games, peer-led workshops and community action projects.

YESS Girls’ Movement
A six-month South-to-South exchange sending young Ugandan women aged 18 to 35 to live, work and volunteer with sister associations across Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Empowering Youth on Climate Action Project
Nearly 10,000 trees planted, 56 advocacy groups and 119 backyard gardens established across Kashumba, Rugaaga and Nakivaale Refugee Settlement.

Girl Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC)
Community cleanups, school recycling systems and tree planting across Gulu, Wakiso and Jinja, with peer education at its core.
