Our Work

The projects we run, the partners who fund them, and what they have achieved for children and young people across Uganda.

Discover a world of opportunities with UGGA. We offer a rich, diverse curriculum of non-formal education tailored to every member’s journey. Through engaging activities and inclusive programs, we create a space where inspiration meets education and every girl belongs.

WAGGGS Initiatives and Programmes

WAGGGS initiatives are programs that empower girls through non-formal education, leadership training, and advocacy, focusing on developing potential, promoting gender equality, and driving community action. Here in Uganda, we are currently implementing Free Being Me body confidence program and the Surf Smart 2.0 digital safety.

Under the WAGGGS Programs, we are implementing the Girl Led Advocacy on Climate Change, Empowering Youth on Climate Action Project under the Global Youth Fund of the Global Youth Mobilization, and the YESS Girls’ Movement exchange program.
