About this site
ugandagirlguides.org is published by Uganda Girl Guides Association (UGGA), a national voluntary organisation for girls and young women, and a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. You can reach us at thegirlguidesuganda@gmail.com.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, share and link to anything here. You must not:
- use the site in a way that breaks the law, or that could damage, disable or overload it;
- attempt to gain access to any part of the site, or any system behind it, that is not made available to you;
- submit anything through our forms that is unlawful, abusive, deliberately false, or that impersonates someone else;
- collect personal information about anyone from this site, by automated means or otherwise.
Accuracy of information
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but details change — particularly dates, fees and camp arrangements. Nothing here is a binding offer. Before acting on anything that matters to you, check with the national office.
Content and trade marks
The text, photographs and design of this site belong to the association or to the people who licensed them to us, unless stated otherwise. You may quote and share our content with credit for non-commercial purposes. You may not use it commercially without our written permission.
The association's name, emblem and trefoil mark, and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts marks, are protected. Do not use them to imply an association, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
Photographs of Guides are published with the consent required by our child safeguarding policy. Do not copy or reuse images of identifiable children from this site.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation's website — a partner, a funder, or WAGGGS — we do so for information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Donations
Gifts made to the association are applied to our charitable work in line with any restriction you specify. Because donations fund work already committed, they are not generally refundable; if you have made a gift in error, tell us as soon as you can and we will do what we reasonably can to put it right.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
