An Adult Leader has a range of occasions to give back to young groups and to support the guiding movement. Adult Leaders oversee the organisation’s development for growth, and promote accountability and members’ satisfaction.
Adult Leaders can
- Join volunteers working groups
- Create partnerships with other NGOs and INGOs
- Advocate for girls’ issues
- Choose to become commissioners or trainers
- Represent UGGA at the national and global level
- Mentor and coach groups of young leaders
- Nurture other guide groups and inculcate them into all guiding activities
