Girl Guide ambassadors, at home and abroad

Young Leaders act as Girl Guide ambassadors in their communities and various institutions. Their boundaries are no longer limited locally; they start exploring and getting involved in international experiences and bring the girl’s voice to the rest of the world.

Young Leaders have opportunities to

  • Join volunteers working groups
  • Head units of younger guides and members
  • Run advocacy and influential campaigns that involve stakeholders
  • Create community projects and develop partnerships with other organisations with similar interests
  • Represent UGGA and WAGGGS in conferences and trainings at a global level
  • Volunteer at the national headquarters or at the different WAGGGS world centres
