Girls as Drivers of Change
This was a unique initiative launched in partnership with Save the Children and WAGGGS to eradicate Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and protect human rights. Centered on the localized deployment of the global Voices against Violence curriculum, the project operated across multiple districts including Eastern Uganda and the Karamoja sub-region by merging the grass-roots scouting network with specialized protection frameworks. Through youth-led "Solution Labs" and interactive safety workshops, adolescent girls design targeted community campaigns to challenge harmful social norms, dismantle victim-blaming cultures, and speak out against street violence.
